Jane Mulcahy was raised by wolves in a quiet residential area of St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. From early childhood, she had an affinity for useless skills, like making art and reciting Avril Lavigne lyrics.

Some time between the release of Toy Story 2 and the great MoviePass boom of 2017, she developed a love of the cinema, and she’s been loudly and angrily forming opinions about film and television ever since.

She began posting video essays to YouTube in 2020, and first garnered attention for releasing a 102-minute cry for help breaking down Canadian teen drama Degrassi. Since then, she’s cultivated her audience by reviewing Lifetime movies, Wattpad stories, mediocre TV, and much more.

She recently completed a film degree at the University of East London and spends her free time having vivid, terrifying dreams.
